THE SWIM
Open water swims are limited to Coached Athletes.
Time: 6:30pm (in the water time!)
Location: Robious Landing Park
We will meet at 6:20pm DOWN BY THE DOCK.
Notes for Swimmers:
You **MUST** be able to swim 200 yards/meters without stopping to attend this workout.
You **MUST** have a swim buoy in order to participate in this workout.
You **MUST** RSVP prior to the swim via the team Facebook page if you would like to attend the swim to ensure we have enough kayakers.
Kayakers: This swim will be dependent on confirmation of kayakers. We need at least ONE kayaker to do a structured workout next to the dock. We will need 1-to-2 kayaker-to-swimmer ratio for a distance swim. One person will remain on the dock to be in contact with kayakers in the event of an emergency. All kayakers MUST carry a cell phone. Kayakers can respond to the poll on the team Facebook page to volunteer for the swim.
Weather: The open water swim is always dependent on weather and river conditions. In the event of inclement weather or poor river conditions announcements will be posted on the team Facebook page as the forecast and information becomes available.
